Ürgüp, situated in central anatolia is a little town of Turkey wellknown all over the world for its fairy chimneys and historical past which is going from prehistorical period to our days.

So, a lot of antique objects of all the periods were collected here and it is possible to find a nice selection in Aziz Güzelgöz's shop "Aziz Baba" which was founded in 1980.

Most of these objects are antiquities old furnitures, pistols, books (Kuran, Hebrew books), pothes, jewels from 19th century to 20th century. Besides, Aziz Güzelgöz is involved in numerous cultural activities. Among those activities, he has worked a lot to improve the friendship between Greece and Turkey. With Dimitrios Katsikas, he made the city of Ürgüp in Turkey and the city of Larissa in Greece sistertown.

This included Aziz Güzelgöz giving a "Saz" (traditional Turkish instrument) concert in Larissa in 1995. Now a days, every year the people of the two cities visit the other one in order to learn their culture and traditional.
